Dark Horse Tavern was conceived and brought to life by Will Tanner, Austin Allen, Lawrence Acosta and Manuel Barquin in early 2015. With a history of success with Hole in the Wall in Austin, TX, Tom’s Kitchen, Black Market, Palomino, Star City and Lowbrow united they made the choice to bring their unique combination of talents to downtown El Paso. Combining elements from the late night parties of Palomino with Chef Lawrence’s culinary excellence they created Dark Horse Tavern. The kitchen opens at 5, the party starts at 10. Your stomach will love it and your liver will remember it.
